Dental Fillings
Dental fillings are artificial materials used to repair or restore teeth. The most common use of fillings is to “fill” an area of tooth that your dentist has removed due to decay. Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down.
Root Canal
A root canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth instead of removing it. This involves cleaning out the infected material form the canals of the tooth's root.
Extraction
A dental extraction is a procedure in which the tooth is entirely removed from its socket. This is a common solution for those who want quick pain relief.
Scaling and Root Planing
Often referred to as "deep cleaning", scaling and root planing is a dental procedure in which the tartar is removed from the teeth below the gum line. A deep cleaning is necessary in order to treat/prevent gum disease (periodontitis).
